I have just ordered a panny tx26lxd52 and a cheap tosh sd150. I was going to get the panny dvd with HDMI but was told by the salesman that there isnt any point. Can anyone tell me if there is any way to test the HD on the Panny to see what it looks like, I know SKY wont be transmitting until next year?
microsoft and divx have HD demos, amongst others (trailers etc), run them off the computer by VGA or DVI
what cables or interfaces do i need to do that? thanks for the reply btw.
same question for me - I have a 436xde and would really like to see a hd clip through it just for kicks. I have downloaded a couple of clips and they look cracking on my Vega LCD (attached to my desktop) but I need to know what cabling I need to plug into my plasma media box.......
what inputs you got? i dont know either of your screens, does the pio have VGA? if so use that. I wouldnt bother trying DVI>HDMI as although it _may_ be better PQ, you may not be able to get it to work easily.

the panny probably has VGA (like your PC monitor) as its LCD but if not them DVI > HDMI is best, or DVI > DVI if it has it. no conversions required, post back if you have different connectors. :)
