    Hi Folks

Just purchased a CC Hard Boiled off Ebay. It wasn't from a seller who had loads of cheap Criterions so I thought I would be OK. I'm in two minds whether its genuine or not.

On the plus side: Packaging seems right, has glossy insert. Film is slightly grainy but I think that's expected on this title. Top 'Hard Boiled' section on disc is mirrored, as is the bottom copyright info.

On the negative side: No frosted ring (though I have other Criterions with mirrored ring as well). There is only tiny writing on the back of the ring, nothing on the front. 'The Criterion Collection' is silver on a rather faded black rather than the bold black of my other Criterions. Overall, it just doesn't feel 100% right.

I would be grateful if any forum member has a genuine copy so I know what to look for. It may be I am getting paranoid for no reason.

    Thanks in advance
