    Hi,

Have a Toshiba RDXS32 DVD/HDD Recorder connected to my LG by scart with one annoying little problem.

I use the PIP on the LG to allow me to set the video or delete content etc while not disturbing what someone is watching, but every time I do something on the video, the LG switches the input.

Does anyone know how to stop this either by a setting on the LG or the Toshiba, I have been through the service menu on the LG but can`t see anything that might do this.

The only other option I can think of is disconnecting the pin on the scart, but that would be a last ditch option.

Generally pin 8 on a scart cable carries the trigger voltage that your TV uses to 'decide' when to switch inputs. If you cut the cable on pin 8 inside the scart plug the TV will only switch AV inputs when asked.
