The question is should I go for:

    a) a 42" rear projection set or
    b) a LCD projector and screen or
    c) a 42" plasma screen from Richer?

The set up will be in a dedicated AV room (loft conversion) viewing position about 10 feet from the screen. What would you recommend? I plan to audition all three options but would appreciate a little guidance.

    1) You can get the Toshiba 50WT29B for £1860. Personally I prefer CRT over LCD.

Each have their pros and cons, but with LCD and Plasma pixel death- I chose RPTV.

    3)- Budget Plasma, 42"
