Hi all, maybe someone might help.
Just came back from USA and brought two dual-shock sixaxis PS3 controllers with me.

Is there any way to sign off my previous two standard non-dual-shock PS3 controllers and assign my new controllers to 1 and 2

    Thanks

Simple, use the cable to plug new controls into ps3 one at a time, press the PS button, done. Just don't bothered turning the 2 old controls on at all, and if you do, just do it after you've assigned the new ones.

Also, if they are assigning the new ones to 3 and 4, and nothing is assigned to one and 2, you can hold the PS button, then hit "Reassign controller" but that shouldn't happen anyway.

Turn on and sync up the new ones (with the USB cable). Then hold down the PS button, there should be an option along the lines of 'Reassign Controller'. Select this option and then you can change what number that controller is. :smashin:

    EDIT: Beaten to it. :)

haha, don't worry :) My brother is exactly the same, we blast on fifa for a few hours, he slumps into his own room whinging about defeat with his control, then suddenly, my PS3 turns on and then he pops his head back in "Uhh, I think I did something to your playstation"

Mind you, he didn't grasp there wasn't a CD tray at the start "Eh? How do I open this to put the game in?"

£21 each for second hand regular sixaxis controllers isn't really worth it when you can buy them brand new for that price.
