How to setup a ps5, pc monitor and pc to ALL use one 5.1 surround sound system?

Current set up:
I have a Samsung monitor which has 1 HDMI in, 1DVI in, 1 audio out and 1 digital audio out.
The HDMI is connected to a 5 to 1 HDMI switch.
From the switch I have 1 HDMI going to my PS5 and another HDMI to my PC.
The PC does not have a 5.1 sound card.
I have a 5.1 creative surround sound and use the green jack on my PC and the yellow connected to the monitor audio out.

Objectives:
To use the 5.1 surround sound( 1 sound system) on both the PC and the PS5.

buy an AV receiver use passive speakers. save a lot of headache

What I have done to get sound from pc and ps5 is connecting a 3.5mm cable from the monitor straight to my subwoofer so when the ps5 is on I choose the appropriate hdmi for the ps5 and the audio comes from my speakers.

Buts that’s only using a 2.1 speaker system and line in/out from monitor to subwoofer.
