how to set up a Panasonic TH42PX60CAB

    hi to you all looking for some help on setting my new Panasonic TH42PX60CAB also just got a Denon - DHT1356XP to set up as well. do l need a good scart lead etc l am new to all of this. so don't no were to start. do l need a Optical Cable for DVD Surround, or a Dolby Digital coaxial cable, not sure which brands are best want to get this right after paying £1800.00 in total. found this form and got a price match on my plasma from j/lewis free 5 year warranty. l have all ready spent some money on good speaker wire.please please help take delivery on wednesday can't wait. :) :hiya:

    well curryman have a search for settings (put it in Cinema Mode) and coneect DVD by component cables dont go silly on cables but buy quality

    Curryman - you don't say what dvd player you will be using. But yes you will need an Optical(or coaxial digital) cable to get DD5.1 sound from your dvd's. You'll also need a set of regular phono leads (red and white) to run from your Tv to the Denon if you want your tv sound to come through the speakers connected to the amp. As for brands IXOS and QED do good quality cables, as do many other brands. Check HiFiCables to see whats available
