Thanks for that larkone, I successfully rooted my KF but I still can't access the google play store, I've tried several other APK files with no success either any ideas?

Got it rooted allright but now my PC isn't showing the kindle in My Computer, so can't transfer any files. The ADB drivers are there and properties show they are working proprly, I don't understand it grrrrrrrrr :-(
