Hi, I have a SSD and for whatever reason, the first time I installed windows on to it, it would never get past the Windows 7 logo. So I just wanted to know how to completely reformat my SSD as if it was new so I can just re-install windows on to it.

The SSD I have is a Kingston 240GB Hyper X 3K

When you boot from your Win 7 install DVD, it will give you the option very early on to format and partition whichever drive you want.

Once you've wiped the SSD clean, proceed with the install to that drive & it should be fine. Win 7 will recognise it's an SSD automatically and treat it accordingly.
