Have just acquired the Panasonic Plasma 42"PV500B (with built in Freeview receiver) and DMR-EH50 Hard Disk Recorder to complement it. Seems great but am already frustrated that I cannot record one Freeview Channel and watch another at the same time.

If I just buy and plug in another freeview box will this simply solve the problem or is it just not that easy. I guess my worry is that that even if it works in theory there will be contention between the recorder and the 2 freeview tuners and a difficult to use mess will result.

Any advice from those that know or have done it greatfully received.

Most of use use a Freeview DVR - in your case get a cheap FV box

With Freeview boxes at £29.99 at Argos, it's hardly going to break the bank :)
