How to protect lens?

    I have a panny PTAE300 and the lens is a dust magnet :( is there some sort of cover i can use on it for use when the projector is on? a bit like a camera filter.

    I have the HMC FL-day filter on my PTAE100 which really helps the picture and protects the lens.

    how does it help the picture mate?

    hi fonz....It helps with the contrast seems to make blacks blacker. There used to be a big thread on here about the filters have a search see if they are still there. Got my filter from USA, had to fit it using some insulating tape. Hasn't fallen off yet :D
