    Hi,

I need help in mounting a screen, the only choice is ceiling mount but the ceiling is false so can't hold any weight as it's just plaster and wood.

I have my plasma on the chiminey mount and i want the screen to pull down in front of the TV.

As anyone with a false ceiling been able to somehow use a pull down screen, if so please tell me how?

    Thanks guys for your help.:hiya:

    Hi,

I don't know of anybody who has used the false ceiling to support the screen. Normally, threaded bars are used to connect to the structure above your false ceiling (for example a beam or a concrete ceiling). You can check if that is an option in your case.

Otherwise, use brackets to cove the thickness of the plasma and as such, you will still be able to pull the screen down in front of your TV.

    Good luck,
