how to make the xbox play in 720i / 1028i

hi, my father has just bought one of them samsung 32" lcd's

I have an xbox which has been modified and has AVLAUNCH installed.

When i try to enable 720i support in AV settings it says HD locked, when i go into options and try to unlock the hard drive in avlaunch it says it cant cause its locked.

So how the hell am i suppose to disable the hardware lock LOL

it also pops up a message mentioning something to do with eeprom settings???

if you could point me into the right direction with websites or info that would be great, as im a complete newbie to modified xboxes and would like to learn more on how to get the most out of my xbox and LCD screen.

Have you got the HD kit, that allows component leads to be connected, if so, you will need too switch the xbox to NTSC.

There are plent of threads of hi-def if you do a search.

P.S. It is 720p and 1080i
