I wish to set up for Sky in 2 other rooms using magic eyes and distribution box in the loft. My main TV is connected to a triplex ariel socket in the living room. - I have arial sockets in the other rooms cabled back to loft redy for connection.

    Questions are:

    1. Which loft box do I buy (I need a maximum of 4 Tv's)
    2. Do I need power in the loft (The SLX boxes I have seen have power cables??)
    3. Is there any way of telling which cable is which in the loft?
    4. Is there a site of previous post which gives definitive instructions on how to go about this?
    5. Should I just pay someone to do it (Got a quote of £120.00)

    Thanks in advance.

If your sky feed runs straight down to your Sky Box then you don't need a complete loftbox just the distribution amp bit.

Globals F and T series amps come as 2, 4, 8 and 16 versions. The 2 and 4's do not need power as the Sky box can power them using the 9v from the back of the box.

Do you have a return cable from the main TV up to the loft area as well?

My feed runs direct from the dish to the triplex socket in the living room, I have 2 return cables from the triplex (one for FM feed I assume). Problem is I have 2 triplex sockets in the living room which means I have 5 cable ends coming up to the loft (plus the one connected to the dish) so I could have a problem finding which one I need to connect??
