How to get images from PC back to SD card in camera?

Can anyone help :lease:

Got a Panny FZ50 and want to put 44 MB onto my SD card for my son to have developed, thought it would be the easiest way rather than wasting several CD's.
Can't find anything in the instructions, unless I'm missing something.

Thanks.

Take the card out of the camera and put it in your card reader (or attach the camera via the USB cable) and the memory card should appear as a removable drive.

Navigate to the folder the pictures are stored in (\DCIM\101_PANA on my FZ8) and then simply drag them over from the PC onto the memory card.

On the other hand 44MB will easily fit onto a CD (they tend to have 650MB-700MB capacties), so if you think that's easier, take that route.

Well I have a Fuji but the process should be the same. All you do is connect the camera to the PC and this should create a removeable drive in 'My Computer'. Then all you do is copy and paste the pics into the removable drive folder.

You probably won't be able to view them on the camer but they will be on there when you go into Jessops to print.

The computer sees such cards as additional storage drives; click on "My Computer" with the card inserted & you should see it with a letter suffix (Drive D,E perhaps)

You can then either copy or drag the picture files to it.

That explains everything.
I had tried the other things advised, but didn't realise they can't be seen on the camera.Doh!

Thanks Tony, ScottBT & Bursa for the quick reply.:smashin:
