I had DVD profiler on my D: drive but after reformatting my hard drive - the c: DRIVE - and installing XP Home (full version), I seem to have lost this. I used to have nearly 140 DVDS on there. I did a search from Start but I have not found what I am looking for.

    Please can anyone help.

If you formatted it you will only be able to get it back with some kind of data recovery package.

Is the D drive a partition of the main drive? If so does the D drive show in my computer window?

If not then you must have deleted the partition and formatted it!

Yes, the D: drive does show in MY Computer but there is still some other data that was originally on the D:drive. I do not feel like putting 140 DVDs back on there again!

From now on, I will back up DVD profiler, Itunes etc. more carefully.

Might be a daft question but didn't you upload it to the DVD profiler web site? If so you can download it back to your computer from the program.

If you can see the info on the D Drive it should all be still there. Unless you formatted both the C & D drives.

Things like ITunes will have to be retold to look at the D Drive however as they default to My Documents/My Music.

It appears that I had not uploaded my DVD collection to My Profiler online but I have done so now.
