I have a Sony str-dh590 AR with five channels and a subwoofer.
It supports these decoding formats with HDMI:
DSD, Dolby® Digital, Dolby® Dual Mono, DTS-HD Master Audio™, DTS-HD High-Resolution Audio, DTS®, DTS 96/24
Do I need to get a Blu Ray player, and a Blu Ray version of an album to get the "real 5.1 surround" out of my system? And I cannot use a PS4 for this?
And is there a big difference between "virtual surround" and "real surround"?
