    Hi folks

I still havent finished Metroid Prime! despite having it since release.
I even have metroid prime 2, but its still in its plastic wrapper ( i wont play it until I finish MP). So i have 150 missiles, and I think 2 less of the maximum of the energy level. Will it be possible to kill MP? Are there any winning tactics I should use? I cannot even get passed MP in its 'spider' form. Maybe i should give up lol

Just keep trying is my best advice. The Phazon Trooper is much harder. :)

sadly he's right! the spider is just half your problem! you really need to survive the spider with as much health as possible to even put up a fight against the MP's next incarnation. Sorry, just warning you. ;)

Well the Phazon Trooper comes earlier in the game and was a real ballache for me. The thing with the Metroid Prime is just that you need to think slowly and carefully about what you're doing and where you need to be. If you're careful there's no need for the MP to hit you which is better than running around guns blazing.

Metroid Prime is much better than MP2 which I just found infuriating and gave up fairly quickly. :)

LOL Metroid Prime 1&2!! Bought both on release and played loads. Stuck on the spider in the first one, and wandering aimlessly about halfway through the second. No idea where to go next! Haven't played in ages...

I've only ever managed to complete a couple of games - ever!

One was a point-and-click adventure (a la Myst) on the PC, called "Legacy of Time 3", and the others - more recently - were Fable and Halo on the XBox.

I've been playing games since I was this high (*random gesture with hand around knee height*) on all manner of platforms. Perhaps I'm just crap, or maybe I just don't have the urge to continue when the going gets tough?

Metroid Prime on the GC did my head in because of the controls... but there's even some text adventures on the 8-bit Atari that I *still* can't work out, 20 years later! :)
