How to download this video? BBC

Sussed it out, I used Snapz Pro to record the screen. There wasn't any info online other than how to download via iPlayer. Cheers.

There is a simple app that does it for you, without having to use snapz. Not sure on the copyright implications so best not to link to it.

Google is your friend though.

is it iPlayer grabber? Haven't been able to find anything that will work on this particular site. Tried a few flv grabbers but they just save a container file and not the flv.

If I wanted to download an flv from my domain what app would you recommend??

I use videobox which has worked on various website for me.

Not at my mac to try the above link though at the moment

No, it was indeed videobox, as suggested above.

Just tried it on my MBP and it doesn't seem to work, there must be a way to get at the file. just had a look at the code and there doesn't seem to be a direct link to the source.

It must be a back end link between, BBC's flash player and the video file.

So looks like Snapz was the best way after all.
