Wasn't sure if this came under the iphone category, mac category, tv or a general chat 'Netflix' - so mods feel free to move this to the most suited category.

I'm going away for work next week and will likely be spending my evenings in my room watching tv/netflix. I can watch this on my phone but i'd like to have it on a bigger screen. However, my mobile provider only allows me to have 4gb of tethering data... whilst my normal 3g/4g connection is unlimited (yes truly unlimited... or at least 1000gb last time i checked).

So is there a way to have my iphone screen mirrored onto a tv and/or macbook? If so how?

EDIT: i've stumbled across a adapter for lightening to HDMI but its £40 (bit much for something ill only use for 4 days)... so is it possible to mirror to macbook using the standard lightening > usb?
