After moving house my 28" crt is too small for its new home so i need to invest in a bigger screen. As this is going to be a considerable purchase and i'm a plasma n00b whats the best way to demo a plasma? What specific things should i look for and is there a particular DVD i should take with me to test them out?

    thanks.

first step, I would say, is to decide what you want, size of plasma, what will you be using it for?..sky, dvd, gaming, pc, is High def tv important to you, that sort of thing ......and then at least you can identify a mangeable number of screens that will do the job you want and that you want to compare rather than just comparing whatever they may have in store at time. Also you should go to specialist av shop, like av sales, not high street chain as they will show you various connections for each screen...there is also another thread running about which dvds are good to take along...
