hello everibody. I have a question. I am Using sonicstage 3.2 to upload music on my hd5.

Now I want to delete an album from it. In the atrac device window of sonicstage everiting is listed under Artist name! I see artist name and if I click on it I see the album name.

is it possible to order everithing by album?? I want to delete a full album of variuous artist, so I have to delete every single song starting from artist name.

I hope someone understand my problme, my english is not so good!
thanx a lot

I often have the same problem as you - I hope there is somebody with an answer - until now I have been deleting the tracks (if they are by various artists) one by one - and it is very annoying...

I've noticed this too. The problem is, that a playlist is just that. A list.

Deleting it can't delete the files because they may be needed in another playlist.

It is annyoing that SonicStage can't track files, and remove them when there are no playlists that refer to them.

It would also help if bloody sonicstage didn't rename the files as they are copied to the device. Daft program.

This isn't very helpful if you want to know individual artists, but if you are happy to rename all artists on a [eg] compilation to Various [or some other 'misc'-type title] then you will only have one place to look for the album to delete.

Alternatively, if you were to add the same prefix to artists for a given compilation [eg on a Ministry of Sound ChillOut Sessions set, "Artist One" becomes "MoS Artist One"; "Artist Two" becomes "MoS Artist Two"; you get the idea], then at least all of the artists to delete will be in the same sort of place when viewing in Sonic Stage. You'd have to have unique prefix for each album to avoid major confusion.

Two non-ideal work arounds, but may help you!
