How to connect Panasonic Plasma TV to Bluetooth earphones or speaker?

How can I connect my Panasonic TC-P60ST60 TV by Bluetooth to Soundcore Q30 Headphones or to an Echo 4th generation speaker?

It looks like the only options for outputting audio from your TV are either via optical out or HDMI (ARC). Panasonic don't list that TV as having Bluetooth in the specs*, so you'd need some kind of Bluetooth adaptor/transmitter and as it also doesn't appear to have a headphone socket, you'd need one that connects to the optical out.

If you do go down that route, make sure you read up on those devices properly as I would suspect that audio delay could be an issue - something that can often be corrected on a soundbar or AVR, but possibly not on a small adaptor.

*they do state that "HID (Human Interface Device Profile) compliant keyboards are available. A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) compliant audio devices are available" in the notes at the bottom, whatever that means ?

Thanks for the feedback. May be time to consider retiring the 8 and 1/2 year old TV.
