Hi All
I am trying to connect my newish Sony Smart TV to rather old Philips DVD player
Sony TV - KD 55A1 specifications say it has 4 HDMI in ports and one Composite 1 Analog conversion input : See https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/...tors-oled-tvs-android-/kd-55a1/specifications

The Philips DVD player - DVP 3310 has 4 round colour coded Video out ports ( Red, Green, Yellow and Blue), a digital out coaxial port and a SCART out port.

I'm trying find out how to connect the two. Can someone help and advice me please? What sort of connectors should I buy?

Thanks in advance
Regards
Vivek

Scart to hdmi lead should do the job. Amazon etc stock them.

Though may be worth getting a 4K player instead, depends on if you think 4K discs are going to be future purchases.

OP you need an analogue extension cable which plugs into the AV in on your TV...page 11 of your TV's user manual shows it but TBH the picture will be poor as it's composite video only.
Buy a cheap Blu-ray player and connect via HDMI.
