I have an Hitachi 42PD5200 (yes I know it's old!) which I connect my PS3 to using component leads (I think they're called) which is AV2 on my plasma. I assume it is Hi def as I get a very good picture from this set up.
I want to buy the Humax HD freesat box but am not sure how to connect it. With the lack of an HDMI socket I thought I could connect it using the DVI socket but as I don't have a separate amp I don't think I would get the sound.
Does anyone know how I could connect both up at the same time to get the best picture possible?
