    Hi,

I got a sony STR555 AV Amp and a Technics DVD a10 Player, which is the best way to connect the two together for DVD Video, DVD Audio and CDs?

Both Units have COAX, Fibre and 5.1 phono connectors. The Sony AMP will do all the decoding etc, the Technics will be used a just a player.

    Hi

For dvd videos & cd playback use either the Optical or Coaxial connectors, personally I prefer coaxial. For dvd-audio you will have to use the analogue 5.1 outputs as dvd-audio is not output digitally.

    cheers
