Got a few parametric equalizers (one Behringer and a small Denon) gathering dust on the attic, does anyone know how to connect these with a receiver like the AVR-300?
I know a lot of people are disgusted by the idea, but I wanna try anyway...
Using the TAPE IN/OUT seems easy, but won't hack it I'm afraid or am I making a thinking error?
My aim is attacking my nasty mid bass room mode...
Haven't got the place to build enormous bass traps!

A BFD etc is connected at line level, so if you want it on any channel other than the subwoofer then you will need to use an external amp for those channels (unless the AVR-300 has a send & return which I'm sure it doesn't).
Normally though you would only connect it in the chain between the subwoofer output of the receiver and then on to the sub. I have a Word document that I found on the internet (pointed to it on this forum IIRC) that descibes how to set up a BFD. If you want a copy then PM me your e-mail address.
