I have had an Arcam DV88 for some time now, today i picked up a Tag DVD32R for a home demo for the week.

I almost posted this in the hifi or general sections, as its really music i want to compare, but also dvd sound and video.

How would you go about comparing these two units? Do you have favourite discs to test with, stuff you know well, or stuff that might stretch the limits of the players?

I have the Tag 'Test tracks' CD, which sounds awesome on both players.

    Any hints, tips or comments?

One tip I would propose is that you make sure you have the two units (AV32R and DVD32R) connected with a Tag Sync link. This will ensure that you experience the sonic abilities of the combination to its maximum.

Have a word with the friendly dealer who loaned you the DVD32R (unless they've already supplied you with it).

Aside from that, enjoy and don't forget to let us know what you think.
