I understand the Toshiba Strata range will not be "adjusted" to accept PAL progressive. Any one know when this range first came out and so when the replacement (hopefully with PP) will arrive?
    also the 520 dvd player.

    Cheers

Yes, I saw SW EPII in Selfridges using prog scan and it was instantly recognisable as the best pic quality in the whole TV section.

You have to see it 'Moving' to really appreciate it, and as for video games.........forget about it ;)

PAL prog scan would be a desirable feature in a TV (esp Strata)as more DVD players and video games will alsoinclude this soon.

its just annoying that the strata is not pal prog as its the only (decent) tv i cant afford and will never be able to afford the £1500 price tag for the others with pal prog

Well, Im getting the 32ZD26P mainly for games and the occasional Sky digi, not too bothered about DVDs tbh.

If you're a movie buff its worthwhile being patient and wait for more good/affordable PAL prog scan sets to come out.

Dont forget you'd need a PAL progscan DVD player too!
