Just been into Rackhams in Birmingham where they had a 42 inch fujitsu plasma display connected to a DVD player.

One of the sales assistants was doing the hard sell to a couple who were looking at it, boasting of the great picture.

Well it didnt look that great to me, and I know why - round the back, the DVD player was connected by... (drum roll please) composite!!

What beats this is how he boasted that this was an easy and excellent connection to improve the pic quality!!

Thank god the DVD player didnt have an RF connection... and no doubt the player was set up for 4:3 tellys...

My words as I left the shop were "no wonder it looked so crap"

But composite is the best connection!
Its why I bought a toshiba dvd player so I could use the composite connection to my Toshiba tv.
