How much will I be able to sell my camcorder for?

I apologise if this is not the most appropriate thread to post, but I was hoping you can help.....

I bought a Sony HDV camcorder (HDR-HC3) whilst on a business trip to America two weeks ago. Although it is fantastic (quality on HDTV is to die for), I'm looking to sell as it'll be tricky to use on my parents PAL-only tv (yes....it's old).

It is, as you can imagine, brand new. There is however no box as it had to go through customs. I have the receipt though - how much do you reckon I can sell it for?

Buy them a new one for Christmas...
The HC3 is now about 18 months Old and even brand new.. due to being NTSC ( and perhaps warrantee issues) it will most appeal to someone who has been looking for one. Given that a new PAL HC5 can be had for £500 and HC 7 £700.. and the rather better Canon HV10 £550
My Guess would be about £400 at the very best
