I've just ordered Panasonics 26" TX hi-def lcd to go with my Pan DMR85. I was just wondering how much I should spend relative to the needs of the equipment. Not wanting to spend more than £50 really.

I was in the market for a component lead and wondering how much to spend. Until I saw Mark Grant's thread. Once I read that there was only one decision to make! It seems he offers the best quality AND the best price. Can't wait for my cables to arrive – and the component cable was £50.

Is £50 a reasonable amount for the 1 metre lead he's selling. How do I know it will be of a high quality? Does he source the cabling himself then make them up? or does he just buy in bulk. :)

    He makes them up himself.

A quick look through the forums should let you know that his cables are held in very high regard.

    Rob,
    The Mark Grant component cables:
Without a doubt it would the one of the best pieces of AV kit you will ever get for £50, after reading through most of the post myself I knew it was the right choice....after recieving it I really do think that Mark has these cables underpriced!
The quality of them is absolutely first class and I have no reservations in recommending them at all, I can assure you that you wouldn't be dissapointed and if like me you'd be wearing a silly grin for a while:)
Hope this helps...I'm in no way related to Mark or his products...just a very happy customer,
    Cheers, Andrew
