I may have the option to buy a 42" Relisys 4205S plasma screen. It is over a year old but less than 18 months (can't remember exactly when it was bought despite being one of the people who helped install it!).

It has barely been used, probably less than 200 hrs in total.
Comes with tuner board with SCART, speakers, feet and wall bracket.

So how much should I pay?

    Cheers,

PS I am all to aware of the screens shortcomings!

this screen would be very poor for tv or dvd use and would not even make a good monitor. I wouldnt buy it unless very very cheap

I've seen it in use with DVDs, a PS2 and an X box both through composite and component and the results are acceptable. Using it as a monitor is waste of wall space though as any resolution above 640 by 480 was too blurred due to the low native resolution.

So what do you call very very cheap?

well with 4 series pannys going for £800-1000 recently (and not much more for 6 series units) I think you are looking at the £500 and under mark. RGB Input - D-Sub 15-pin x 1
    RGB Output - D-Sub 15-pin x 1
    Audio System - 5W x 2

    Video
    Tuner PAL/SECAM x 1

    SCART Input X 1

    S-Video Mini DIN 4-pin x 1

    Component Video Signal RCA-pin x 1 (Y/CB/CR, Y/PB/PR auto detect)

Cheers HD, I had originally offered £500 but wanted an independent opinion.
I think I'll stick to my 40" CRT rear pro until Sky HD is released and take a look at what is available then.
