hi
Sorry for the speculative post however i am close to buying a 1080ti due to the 20xx prices being very high and i am questioning how much better / if at all / the 2080 will be when it comes out.

due to people selling their 2nd hand cards not that far off new i am considering buying a new 1080ti.

however it comes with destiny with 2xDLC packs.

None of my mates want to play it so i may as well sell it if i get the new card. No one is selling one in the classifieds. what do you guys reckon it would fetch? (I am hoping £30, is this reasonable?)

thanks for your reply.

isnt that for the base game? if not then that is all i need to know because i would never overcharge more than you can buy for new.
i thought the 2 dlcs were each proper money expansions not just cheap trinkety type stuff.

Till the 20xx are in hands i think its knee jerk to try speculate what the real world 2nd hand price of 1080ti's is right now anyway.

i was purely going on the price of them new...

end of the day it is worth what people are prepared to pay and what the buyer is prepared to sell of course......
but when new is £630 with a game and some other tat, then i use that as a ball park for 2nd hand stuff with limited warranty.

but that is by the by, i was just after an idea what the game was worth to offset the new price.... which it would seem to be £20 and then only on a good day!

edit... wow and according to that link it is locked to 10 series cards as well... <sigh!> things have tightend up since i bought gears of war 4 nvidia edition it seems.

i may as well keep it if i buy new... so thanks for that link. @aslird

The time to buy a 1080ti is when those who are upgrading have bought their new 20xx cards and have the 1080ti's sat doing nothing. Right now there is surely still a premium attached. The market will be driven by the available cards. Currently they are still in peoples PCs and its a sellers market. Once those cards have been replaced it will be a buyers market
