    Hello

I'm just in the process of buying a new house and my pioneer 507xd is too big for the new house, has anyone any idea of how much its worth, it was purchased in Jan this year, it was purchsed from a UK retailer and is UK spec, has been in a non smoking home, has side speakers, LEC flat wall bracket and has the remainder of the manufacturers warranty till 23rd Jan 2008.

    Thanks

    Gary

Have a feeling altho its going to be worth something its probably not worth much for a few reasons. Its "last years model" and like anything that devalues it considerably. Secondly that model has (on here) a widely reported and talked to death dirty screen problem which affected quite a few. That may not affect its value directly depending on where you intend to sell it and if yours has the reported problem. Some see it some dont.

Best of luck selling it, maybe advertsing it in here is a good idea as there are more knowledgable folk in here who may pay the "going rate" for this TV if it hasnt the problem.:smashin:

I'll start the bidding at a fiver :D

    Not on here it's not.

Edit- sorry i should expand. Check the Pioneer owners section of the forum. Someone just asked the same sort of question in there.
So far only i've answered but basically it was to say i've tried selling mine on here, the prices people are willing to pay take the :censored:

I've been offered a stupid price already, to be honest I'm not willing to lose that kind of money so I'm gonna buy a stand and make it fit into the new house, thanks for the replies though.

    Nope.

Some 507s get it, mine did and I got a refund for it.

    Hi

I just bought a 507 from philbob and payed £1400 for it and for
me it is well worth it.

Kinky you were asking £1700 for yours i think that is a little to much
    in my opinion.

Aye, alas it's a common misconception that somehow the 507s were immune. ;)

Maybe it's less common, hard to tell though. A few people like me did post on the 427 DS and buzzing thread but the title did mislead people a little.
