I'm thinking about selling my PC and I was wondering how much it's worth. Everything is under 10 months and has been well looked after.

That is a decent spec. You often find that when selling PC's you are likely to get more when selling as indiivdual components, normally selling between somehwere between 50-75% of present retail value.

If you do decide to break up, I would be interested in the RAM for the right price (spec pending). If you decide to sell as package, would still be interested.

    Cheers

I'll work out what each component is worth. I either want to sell it or swap it for a Power Mac G5 or Powerbook.

If you do split Reznor, keep me in mind for the Geil RAM.

    Cheers

Just wondered why you wanted a Mac, are there many benefits over PC's?

Reason being we are looking at getting a 2nd computer for playing online games together and I'd rather have a Mac (based on looks alone lol) but was a bit worried about playing all the latest games on them!

If you want to play games then don't get a mac. It's such a shame but game companies don't really make games for Macs and most games have to be completely rewritten to be ported on to a Mac. I think it's only Open GL games that are ported over to Mac's.

The reasons I want a Mac are one they are so sexy and two I would be able to use just for getting work done and won't have any distractions from games.

I'm easily distracted! I think oh i'll just play on Battlefield 2 for a bit but then 3 - 5 hours later I'm still playing and haven't got any work done

    lol fair enough

    Very disappointing about games though.

I'll have to console myself with the knowledge that a new PC would be a bit cheaper I guess....
