    Hi Guys

I know this is not strictly HCPC related but just wondered if anyone could give me their opinions on how much my PC is worth? I am considering selling it in favour of a laptop.

    Dell P4 2.8GHZ
    1 GB Ram
    120 HD
    ATI Radeon 9700
    SB Live 5.1
    19inch CRT Dell Monitor
    NEC DVD Writer
    Samsung DVD Rom Drive
    Optical Mouse etc

    Thanks

Well, I couldn't give an exact pricing for it but I would say its worth around £600. Why don't you check it against those being sold in loot (http://www.loot.com)? That might give you a good idea. Also you can always drop the price if you're not getting any interest so you don't have to price it too conservatively (unless you want a quick sale).

I suppose the price will also depend on what processor that is? i.e. the 2.8 Ghz (533mhz fsb) version or 2.8C Ghz (800mhz fsb) version, whether it includes any speakers (I assumed it did) and what other extras it has, e.g. network card, modem etc.

Anyway, I don't know how much help that is but it should give you a clue... :)

    Thanks Alex

I checked out loot - looks like your guess is about right (I was hoping for nearer to £700 though)

It is 533FSB but it has a built in Network card and does have desktop stereo speakers too. Perhaps it would be worth me advertsing it here on AVFORUMS?

    Cheers
