    Hi

Any idea how much a Nakamichi 600 cassette desk is worth :-

    Full spec here :- http://www.hi-fiworld.co.uk/hfw/oldeworldehtml/nakamichi600.html

The deck was originally my old mans, who passed on 15 years ago, so hasn't been used in that time. I'm looking for the best price as its my mother who will recieve the money (she could do with a treat)

Any advice on prices & where best to sell for max price is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers Dave

:zonked: Deserved that..but unfortunately a) the article is 2 years old b) in the real world things are usually different.

Wasn't sure if they were some hi-fi nuts on here that have seen what these m/c's go for recently, or where best places to sell for a good price.

The value of these depends a lot on finding the right buyer at the right time....they are still very good casette players, and can be quite sought after, although not to the extent of Dragons or TT1000's.
You can find decks similar to yours going for up to £300 on ebay and loot, but obviously a dealer will offer less.

I'd certainly advise keeping an eye on either ebay or ex-dem.co.uk for prices before trying to sell, and if going via ebay, set a sensible reserve before advertising.
