    Hi All

I'm deliberating what type of speakers to go for in a 7.1 system.

Based on a recommendation I'm considering partnering BW601 S3s at the front with M&K K-4s Tripoles at the rears - but what about the side speakers? Should these be monopoles (another pair of 601s) or another set of K-4?

    Thanks in advance for advice.

    :)

I'm going into 7 channel soon..

    sides- dipoles
    rears- monopoles.

Dolby & THX have conflicting systems, for example you could use bipoles for rears. Or tripoles for sides/rears. And different again with music DVD-Audio discs.

So basically do what you prefer- borrow each type of speaker (monopole, bipoles and tripole)
