How many nights or days a week do you watch a DVD? Don't know about anyone else but I am finding that I watch less and less TV these days :boring: and find myself browsing the DVD collection most nights and was just curious about everyone elses watching habits.

Hi, I signed up to blockbuster's unlimited service last month - so I find myself watching DVDs most nights. However I think I'm the same as you in that I browse my collection and leave it. It all depends on mood really.

I have to get up stupidly early for work, so I'm usually in bed by the time the decent telly starts. Instead, when I get home I'll put on the latest arrival from ScreenSelect, or a favourite from my collection. Consequently, hardly a day goes by without me watching a DVD (or two) or at least listening to music through the system.

(For example, "Hell Freezes Over" is currently playing in the background in glorious DTS!)

I only watch football, Sopranos, 24 and the other odd program, so I watch quite a few dvd's a week. Either that or the Xbox360 (which is geetting dangerously addictive)

I usually only watch one rented DVD a week. As you can tell I'm not a great rental DVD viewer. I usually wait for the films that I wouldn't pay to go and watch at the cinema but are appealing and intriguing enough to me to want to watch them on the small screen. I think the next film I get out might be Serenity or Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang.

My wife and I are both dvd fanatics and joined the dvd fraternity way back in June 98, when it first came out.
We too watch very little tv now and tend to watch at least one movie every night plus a couple episodes of Lost, C.S.I. or (currently) House M.D.- have to watch these types of tv series on dvd to get the full picture/sound treatment and No annoying breaks for adverts!!
We are actually getting slightly worse over the last couple of weeks as we end up watching 2 movies and then a couple episodes of House M.D.
We still, even after all this time really enjoy watching movies together, especially as we have now totally upgraded every part of our home cinema system - bringing new life to a lot of our dvd collection.

i try to watch about 3-4 films a week... and refuse to go to the cinema, as most local cinemas in our area have both crappy picture and sound :thumbsdow

The Wife and I try to sit down and watch at least one movie a week on the projector...but it very rarely happens these days.

We used to have movie night every Friday but with more and more recorded on Sky+ that does not seem to go down we have fallen behind.

Once a month if I'm lucky enough to have that much spare time. Usually I just kick back for half an hour with AVF then go straight to bed. :)

Well seeing as I'm on my tod in the flat & with only the 5 basic cahnnels (Till Thursday when I get Sky installed) I'm watching DVD's more or less all the time.

I'm currently going through series that I have on DVD so I can watch an episode a night (currently on Deadwood season 1) then get a bit of Madden '06 or Moto GP3 in on the X-box before bed :D :D
