Hi

Can someone help please? How many hdmi cables will I need to make sure the following set up works:

Panasonic P42G20
Humax Fox HDR T2 Recorder
Panasonic HT480 Surround sound
(Possible also a vhs player with scart)
Receiving Freeview via a standard aerial

Can anyone help with what cables I will need that won't come with the kit? As it's for my parents, I want to make sure I get everything together at one time!

Thanks

Hi, you'll need 2 x HDMI cables, one from the Panasonic to the TV and one from the Humax to the TV. And, as you say, one scart cable from the video recorder to the TV - job done.

Remember, don't spend a fortune on your HDMI cables, something like this will suffice.

Cheers,

Martin.

thanks for this, I've found some decently priced ones on ebuyer, along with the 200mbps homeplug for only £35 so hoping that will do!
