70 at the moment though

What have you been "banned" for? Trading DVDs with French writing on the covers? :D

You're joking surely?

I have about 260 DVDs.

I used to know exactly how many DVDs I had until my computer decided to die on me while simultaneously DVD Profiler refused to let me download my DVDs from their website  So now I can't be bothered to re-enter them all into DVD Profiler again :(

It always amazes me about peoples claims to the size of their DVD collections, particularly when they say that they ONLY have x amount of hundreds!! As for having over 2000,well there simply isnt that amount of DVD's worth owning.
I have a modest 87,but i am comfortable with my size and have never had any complaints.;)

Yeah. I did find it b4 you posted. I'm quite selective when it comes to thread browsing! ;)

I have more than 201 DVDs but less than 301! :D Counting boxsets as one item!

A good quarter of these must be music (5.1) titles and about 20 DVD singles.

Is there another thread for my VHS tapes?

Awwwww, do we have to count box sets as one item?:( So thats one for BTF Triology, One for Star Trek TNG season 1, One for Toy Story and One for Star Trek TNG movies box set :(

Thats 16 discs counting as 4.........hmmph:mad: ;)

If someone only liked James Bond, X-Files, Star Trek TNG, Thunderbirds etc., they would be at an advantage? :D

I have Aliens, Oliver Stone, and Captian Scarlet myself. Oh, and Simpsons 1&2.

So that I can keep an eye on him :D

Thought I had about 150 until I tidied up a bit.

318 not counting Farscape. I could have bought myself a car by now.

If the films contained in the box set are available seperately then i cetainly wouldnt count them as 1 item. For instance - the Dirty Harry box set,5 films all available identically as single DVD's,so it must be counted as 5. Absolutely no question about it.:D
But on the other hand,if 2 films have been put onto 1 disc then i would have to count this as 1 item.

That's a point, I could move out. Nah... I'd prefer to spend money on stuff that's beneficial. Like a big nasty TV!

*****S P O I L E R********A L E R T*********

BTW Pikey pete isn't real he just appears when a how many dvds do you own thread gets posted ;)

278 Dvds counting all boxsets as 1
Thats an average of 10 discs a month since I bought my player in June 2000 oh dear no wonder I still drive a crappy Ford Escort:rolleyes:

I have averaged around 10 per month since I bought my first player. Now that the average price is around 12 pounds its not too expensive. If I rented 10 films per month it would cost me 30 pounds so around 90 - 100 pounds a month on the software for my hobby is quite good.
