They also launched a 57" lcd and 80" Plasma, both with 1920x1080 panels at CeBIT in March
Maybe what he means is, how long will he have to wait before there's a 1920x1080p screen he can actually afford to buy.
Alright, my fault. Lets go with Nicolas on this.
I'd love to know this too but I cant see it being for a few years!
So how much can you afford?
Looks like a "50" then?
If they have HDMI interface and internal frame buffer not limited to 60Hz and I may have to order one up. When are they available in the UK?
Thanks gordon. Thats a shame, its kinda just long enough to tempt me to but a cheap 42" and then sell it when a 50ish 1080p becomes available.
It's all a cunning plan to separate you & your hard earned cash!
What sort of size do you see that being?
i.e. 5k 1080P
in 18 months? Bit optomistic I think. I'd be surprised to see one at all, but maybe wait till after CEDIA before shooting my mouth off. No 50" 1080 screens seen yet, only the samsungs, and they are truly silly money.
