every time I see Theo James I can't help mentally applying the poop nugget he had on the end of his nose in The Inbetweeners movie. Then I laugh. I hope that doesn't detract too much from what's going on when I watch this, it looks like it could be ok

    DO NOT WATCH THIS.

Has no ending, its like someone rolled credits half way through.

Looked very promising and was enjoying it but the EXTREMELY abrupt ending made me wish I had money so I could fly to the house of whoever done this and punch him in the face (If only I was a violent person lol)

The film ends exactly how the above trailer does.

Perhaps they should have named it How It Doesn't End.

Mind it pisses me of that a lot of films have a ending when there a world threat and after lots of grusom deaths they finally eliminate the thread, only to find one has escaped or laid some eggs somewhere. I too feel like punching them.

    Agree with most

The ending was more like cliffhanger for a season premiere of a tv show, making you want more.

too much filler stuff in the middle. characters come and go

the bad neighbor dude plot at the end came out of no where
    , not great

performances are fine, its looks good, some nice shots

how its ends , the chaos is still alive and well

    watchable 6/10

Yeah, that bit near end was 2nd wtf moment to the credits rolling where I thought we were all getting punked, despite being in second place it wasn't even in the same galaxy as the credits popping up.

Was pretty decent/watchable all the way through but the ending made me want to throw the remote at the screen.

Could have been a 7/10 but i’m taking 3 off for the non ending.

    4/10

This reminds me of another apocalypse style movie which seems to end abruptly:

    Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) - IMDb

I thought that was watchable for about 2/3 of the film, and it kinda just ends.

Thanks for all the warnings. I love post apocalyptic films but the abrupt ending would have annoyed me, so I’ll give this a miss.

Do you think it is the first part for a tv show or a sequel movie providing it gets enough views?

If it is then they need to stop this because once word spreads over the web when people look up films and see this kind of stuff its going to tank their numbers.

If you are not going to watch it the spoiler I posted you can see how it ends.

the ending didn't bother me. But it did infuriate my Mrs. She hates that kind of ending. I thought the film played like the first in a series but I haven't heard anything about any intentions to make any more of them.
I didn't mind being put in the same situation as the characters. Nobody had a clue what was going on, why it was happening, how to deal with it. That seemed pretty much like how it would probably be in real life, to me. But yeah, as a standalone film, I can see it annoying the hell out of anyone that likes to have a beginning, middle and final resolution to their evening's entertainment

    To be honest mate

Even if there was conclusion to the film that didn't explain every little thing its better than this POS we was given, the whole point of the film was to get to her and make sure all was well and it leaves people with what looks like the aftermath of a volcano eruption heading towards them and catching them up. A hint of what caused everything would have been nice as well since they did managed to obtain cell reception and radio contact every now and then just some info would have been nice.

"How It Ended" is a pointless title since we don't know if it is the end of the human race or even if that is what it meant or even if that was meant to end.

I was quite enjoying it but jesus christ that ending, did the guy writing this die and that is why there is no ending?

If it ended with them reuniting without the third wheel that would be been a billion times better but instead we get an ending with death literally knocking on their door, I would reference this ending to another recent film but wouldn't want to spoil anything but if you are curious let me know and I can PM.

the cloud did seem to be catching up as it was passing over the mountains, but just before the credits rolled it had clearly slowed down enough for the distance between it and their vehicle to be increasing, so they'd managed to outrun it this time. That's how it looked to me anyway.
I agree, though, I'd been expecting at least some kind of hint of what was going on to get dropped through the film and was surprised there didn't seem to be anything at all by way of an explanation. It appeared to be volcanic but who knows

I didn't think it was a decent film, I thought it was ok for the 90 minutes it was on but only in the same way the syfy channel disaster flicks can hold my interest for their running time without leaving me with any kind of inclination to ever watch it again afterwards.
My Mrs thought the ending was on a par with Bobby Ewing waking up in Dallas
