Its that good or bad.? Whats your thoughts .... sounds like a good thing from what we previously discussed
Yep, I am happy in one way, but not in another as I miss routine.

I am still looking for new jobs but not much about, hopefully soon more will be advertised.

Just had some devestating news, an 18yr old son of a friend of the family has been found yesterday in the early hours at a local beach dead.

He was in my daughters class at school and we knew him, such a lovely lad but did suffer from depression. We're not sure what happened but the death isn't being treated as suspicious 😢😢

Absolutely heartbroken, I put it in here as didnt know where to talk about it.

Such sad news. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone who need it.

Is your daughter OK?

There nothing you could have done because you didn't know there thoughts. This again is the reason for this thread. It doesn't come through anymore clearer that the sad news you received.

Sad News: It might be better in here? Depression , keen to know other peoples coping mechanisms and experiences ....... Your call.

We lost a close family friend today too. Suddenly went down hill, into hospital and discharged to a nursing home. No suggestion it was COVID, but you do wonder. Same with our next door neighbour who has been in a care home for nearly a year and died earlier in the month.

canny haul that , how often will you get one ? , I turned mine down , people in far more need than me , and that's not meant to sound cocky in any way .........
I think it is just a one off.

And definitely if you don't need it, then that's a cool thing to do 🙂

I do so I'm very happy!!

My daughter seems OK, if anything it's hit me harder than I thought it would, maybe it is because it was someone the family knew and is the same age as my daughter.

When my daughter comes home from work I'm going to have a chat with her and see how she is :)

Thanks for the link, I didn't realise there was part of the forums for discussions like that, I've always stuck myself away in the football and movie sections.

Sorry to hear about your loss as well.

Thanks, will do.

It does look like he took his own life, heartbreaking.

The family used to live in the house we now live in, his younger sister is friends with my son (same year at school) and went to each others birthday parties, hung out together outside of school and he isn't sure how to speak to her, I've said to leave it a while as they'll be mourning him but to be there should she need to talk.

What was awful was the local news group that has a page on Facebook ran a story when the family didn't want to go public until they were ready, they didn't mention him but people insinuated who it was in the comments.

Unfortunately with social media it is very hard to keep anything quiet.
