I have had my panny ae200 for almost a year now, so I thought I'd post to say how I've got on with it and post some new screen shots.

I have got on with it really well and (touch wood) no more dead pixels, just the one that it came with down the bottom right hand corner.

The stuff I have used with it and still use are as follows:

    Playstation 2
    HTPC
    DVD Player
    Xbox
    Gamecube
    Retro consoles (SNES,MD ETC)
    Sky
    Video
    SD card images

I have had great fun and no problems with 252 hours on the clock running on low mode.

The most amount of time I have had it on is 8hrs  gladly no probs there.

Gonna stick with this one I think as I like it a lot.

I now use Blackout curtains, but would like to get a screen at some point (10ft wide and 6ft high) this is explained in my projection screen thread.

    now the pics:

My screen with the light on (awful aint it??)

    Bit of jumbo browsing anyone??

    My fave past time

    Pretty

not a bad picture, this is

    A round anyone??

Being curtains is handy in a way (easy storage and cheap) but not in another, repeated ironing and still always wavey.

Hope you enjoy, please feel free to leave any comments and criticisms on this and my kit (shold be in my signiture)

Anyone want to see anymore pics please let me know and I'll post some for comparing etc....I have a better camera than last time (which I'm just getting used to) so the pics are better (I last posted pics in the show me yours thread I think it was called)

    cheers

Tris if i could offer one bit of advice it would be to buy a screen :lease: It makes a huge difference not to mention less waves ;)

My 500 is back at Panasonic again and they have given me a 200 as a loaner and to be honest it isn't a patch on the 500 :(

Everyone knows they're not waves (apart from in that last shot)... that's a severe case of vertical banding :D

You can get a 2 metre wide Ikea pull down blind (Tuplar range) for 20 quid and will give you an amazing picture.

I use a blind as I couldn't afford a proper screen. I am sure a screen would be better but I am very pleased with it.

It is fixed to the ceiling so I can wind it up when not in use. It was less than £20 from Argos.
