Shamelessly stolen from Pistonheads, but I find it a good read so thought I'd create a thread on here and see what everyone has been doing this year...

Job: A few close work friends have left which has made it all a bit more of a chore, but I have more responsibility which is good in the long term.
Cars: The trains have been delayed most days, makes commuting fun...
Love Life: Nothing exciting but I wanted a drama free 2015 and that's what I've had.
Health: In good health and in good shape. I have started going to the gym a bit more and I'm now running home from work a couple of times a week so I'll continue to see results.
Holidays: Three this year, I went to Madrid in January to see Real v Atletico in the Copa Del Rey. Next up was China in July to see the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors and lastly was Oslo for Halloween. I highly recommend China to anyone who is thinking about it.
Anything else: Moved in October (roomshare) and it was the right decision.
Goals for 2016: Improve the fitness some more as I'm going to Everest Base Camp in February but otherwise just continue to enjoy life.

Crap.

Job- none
cars- none
Love life - none
Health- crap
Holidays- a few all crap
Anything else- No
Goals for 2016- Do more than I did in 2015

I'll jump in before @SBT sharpens his quill :)

Job: Made redundant on 01/12/15, the first 11 months were great though from a career point of view. Volunteering helping the disturbed, needy and challenged (Moderating here in GC ;))

Cars: Picked up the Audi S5 in my avatar, ditched an Mercedes in favour of it. I love it.

Love Life: Tinder was an amazing experience, as noted in other forums. I had an absolute hoot in July an August with memories that will not be forgotten soon. Now 4 months into a really happy relationship with my current girlfriend after being 'single' for 18 months.

Health: In good health and in good shape dropped from 17 stone to just over 15 stone with my waist dropping from 36" to 34". Still enjoying red wine a little too much midweek but that will soon be kicked into touch.

Holidays: None

Anything else: I've been continually astounded by the camaraderie and characters on AVForums, there are some really, really decent people on here. Long may it continue.

Goals for 2016: Improve the fitness some more as above, travel with my gf who hasn't been abroad for over a decade and secure a job in January that I've hankered after for a long time now.

Have a great 2016!

Well following your format

Job: I took the decision earlier this year to go self employed from a very well paid permanent position.. Things started off very promising indeed although eventually fell on it's arse when my youngest son had a cancer diagnosis in April. Currently unemployed and have no idea when things can improve.
Cars: My trusty Honda CRV has been very reliable this year which has been a real bonus due to the amount of hospital trips we have completed in it
Love Life: Married now for 15 years and 2015 has been the hardest, our youngests illness has created some very tricky situations and a LOT of stress!!
Health: Not the greatest, put on a huge amount of weight this year due to family circumstances, find ourselves thrown around from pillar to post at times with no warning meaning we buy far too many takeaways! Just discovered I have a hernia and waiting for an appointment with a consultant to see the best course of action.
Holidays: Had 2 booked this year, 2 weeks in Spain for August and Christmas in Portugal, both were cancelled as Harry is unable to travel. Had a few stays in Sutton (Royal Marsden) B&B if that counts!!
Anything else: People's generosity have amazed me, we have been overwhelmed by the support of (in some cases) complete strangers who have offered us help and assistance, this forum included.
Goals for 2016: Get back into a more manageable routine, Harry should be returning to school so hoping for a little more normality, some good news on the job front would also be welcome.

Sincerely hope nobody else has had as shit a year as I have!!

Job: work in IT, currently been a bit of a chore recently. Since having children and also my diagnosis back in 2013 I've lost all interest in wanting put in the extra effort at work and long hours, just want to spend most my time with Family etc... seriously thinking a change in career... but hard to pull the trigger as it's an easy life at the moment.

Cars: not changed my car this year (E90 - 320D), although did sell the missus' Mini Cooper S after all the engine troubles it had. We swapped that for a Nissan Qashqai, and for that to become the main family wagon. That frees me up to swap mine for something less practical if I wish... I've got a hankering for the Z4 Coupe 3.0i Sport at the moment.

Love Life: celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary this year, all going well. Been together over 15 years in total now.

Health: Apart from the obvious, i'm in generally good health... rocking the dad bod a bit too much... do plan to get back in shape a bit more... but with 2 young ones and irregular sleep patterns it hard to fit it all in.

Holidays: Went to Kos this year for 10 days, as much rest as you can expect with a 2 & 4 year old in tow. Did have Tunisia booked for next year... but now swapped that for Kos again as the resort worked really well and the boys enjoyed it.

Anything else: Extended the house this year, to create a large open plan kitchen diner. Has completely changed the way we use the house and so much better for us... means we're less likely to want to move and can concentrate on paying of the mortgage sooner.

Eldest started school this year too, can't believe how fast times goes!

Goals for 2016: Get fitter, clear debts, enjoy life and spend more time with friends and family.

Sorry for boring you all:D

Job- Yes, though I thought it was going to be cut, but transferred to Abu Dhabi.
cars- Driven or own. Had a Dodge Durango in Saudi, rental cars, Mustang, Challenger, Q60, Fusion, Altima, Santa Fe, Maxima, Caddy ATS.
Love life - complicated, had lots of fun and lots of hassle
Health- Good, lost a screw in tooth, need to get fixed and a filling.
Holidays- Every day not at work is a holiday, Lake Charles, Austin, Midland, Dallas, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Edinburgh and places in between.
Anything else- Stopped smoking (for the most part).
Goals for 2016- Keep my head down, as there will surely be more job cuts if the price of oil keeps falling.

Job: Full time dad since April 2014. Noisy.
Cars: Still the bus
Love Life: Marriage continues
Health: Healthy. Did a bit of running earlier in the year - went from 150m then out of breath to a 52 minute 10k / 22 minute 5k. Now hitting the chocolate pretty hard again.
Holidays: Two weeks on the Pembrokeshire coast, one week in Lyme Regis, four weeks driving to the Med and back via the Swiss alps and Paris. I guess that's a win.
Anything else: Er
Goals for 2016: Get bigger projector screen, house.

Job: I am working for a Metal Recycling Company, been here 4 and half years. We are about to start Exporting as the Steel Industry is in such a bad way so hoping that goes well.

Car: 2011 Renault Wind and still love it.

Love Life: Married for 30 years gone August. Most of it happy would I change it..... No, he's a good Guy.

Health: Only issue is a Cataract that is getting worse so will have to have something done but scaring the Poop out of me. Although thanks to the Thread on here I feel a bit easier about it.

Holidays: Kent for a week, Scotland for a week and a couple of Wind Meets.

Anything else: Joined this Forum and have met some very Friendly, Kind, Genuine People that have made me feel Welcome. Thank you. :)

Goals for 2016: My first holiday driving abroad, a Wind meet in Loire Valley. I must be crazy but it may open up a lot more Holiday ideas for us.

Job - Started a new role at a new company on 5th Jan, wasn't quite sure it was the right thing and have been proved correct over the year, however it is well paid for doing little which has helped with the 'anything else' part below. Am currently looking for a new role.

Car - new job meant no company car so also changed car at the start of the year, went for a F11 520d which I thought would be big enough for the family, proved wrong with that as well. Therefore this will be changed next year.

Love Life - Celebrated 4th Wedding anniversary, though have been together for 15 years. We have argued more this year than normal but probably due to the 'anything else' part again!

Health - no issues luckily though not lost any weight which will need to change next year

Holidays - not been abroad, though through choice rather than anything else. Managed 4 weeks away in various parts of this country which has been great and to be honest I prefer anyway.

Anything else - had our second daughter in May which has been great though rocked the boat more than we thought! We thought life was stressful before that!

Goals for 2016 - It will be a year of change. We will be moving house. I will be getting a new job. Wife goes back to work. Will be changing both cars. Will be losing 3 stone. Will run 100 miles. Will clear a chunk of debt. I can't wait :)

Job: Changed jobs - same role as a software developer but a chunk more pay and benefits as well as the work being more stimulating. Previous job was becoming a bore.
Cars: Got my Honda Civic. BMW 3 series was the ideal but would have been a financial stretch.
Love Life: Marriage continues - all good.
Health: Lost a bit of weight, gained a bit of weight. Time to resume the Gym in January, currently not a member.
Holidays: First proper holiday for me, went to Dubai.
Anything else: Nope
Goals for 2016: Clear down various debts. Got a nice rise in pay with the new job so haven't touched the extra and it is going to clear off debts.

Job: Great until the 23rd July, when due to an accident, my career went to pot!

Car: 2005 Nissan Tino, drags the camping stuff around happily!

Love Life: Married.. Yay!

Health: Usually fab, resting HR @ 39bpm, now poor, but getting better.

Holidays: Various camping trips throughout the UK

Anything else: Interview today!

Goals for 2016: Do well today and hopefully start a new job which I am capable of early 2016!

Job: Moved away from IT Support and now on the faculty side of working in a school, much more challenging and much more interesting, plus, a crapload of holiday :D
Cars: The Panda 100HP is still going strong (ish) but the wife's i30 is a lemon, hopefully we might have some money left over from the extension to get her something better.
Love Life: Been married 5 years last June, next January we will have been together 10 years.
Health: I'm not dead! (but seriously, will probably need a checkup for cholesterol as it seems to run in the family) Weight slowly dropping off again, need to get back on the bike more regularly.
Holidays: Lovely trip to Cornwall in the summer, but nothing else planned for now.
Anything else: NEW BABY BOY! - baby Asa born 26th November, our family is complete! Feels like a massive step forward in life, after about 5 years of uncertainty and heartache.

About to spend a considerable sum of money extending and renovating the house, hopefully starting in the new year to finish around April - biggest thing we've ever done but we will have a lovely family home when it's done.
Goals for 2016: Get the extension finished, get the wife a better car, have more family time, cultivate new mommy/daddy friendships and socialise more.

Jobs:
Been in the same job for over 20 years & and it looks like I have been passed over for promotion again. Too many blokes getting on their knees and swallowing & the same yes men who say they can do the job when they do not have a clue. I might learn to keep it shut one day (not likely). Time for a new job me thinks.

Car:
Same as last year I will change it next year.

Love life:
Been with my lady more than half my life and look forward to spending even more time with her (even though she does my head at times).

Health:
It has beena bad year health wise, hopefully next year will see an improvement.

Holidays:
Took the grandkids away for a week to Spain in May then went to Turkey in September.

Anything else:
Off to see my brother in Australia next year and hopefully find another job before I do something I may or may not regret.

Job: Worked on a few different projects but not been challenged at all really, not much drive or focus. Hopefully that will change around March next year with a new role (that's if the MOD don't postpone again o_O)
Cars: My A4 Avant has drained me of cash this year :(. Felt like a may as well got a job at the garage. I now dread the day another "PINGGGGGGGGGG" from the dash or dodgy sound occurs. Wife's Mazda 2 has had a couple of problems too. That might have to go soon as its done a lot of miles and is three door.
Love Life: Been with the wife for 10 years this Monday passed. Been married for 18 months. Seems all good right now.
Health: Good. Finally recovered from a tendon tare to start running again. Lots of exercises and cycling over the last 9 months have helped.
Holidays: Went ski/snow boarding, did the West Highland Way and had a week in New York. A few weekends away here and there.
Anything else: "I hate cars" is my quote of 2015.
Goals for 2016: Try for a kid.

Job: retired from the Fire Service in June and still miss it, especially with recent Xmas meet ups. Went back retained with the fire service which isn't quite the same but still love going to jobs. Doing a PT delivery Job 2 days a week.
Cars: Bought a Mercedes B class again and still love it but will be getting the new GTA when the hybrid comes out in June.
Love Life: Been together nearly 27 years married 17 and probably happier and more in love now than ever (mainly due to me being a cock in the past).
Health: Thought Coeliacs was under control but having a few stomach problems but back at consultants Friday so see how that goes. Apart from that fitness wise I have been soooo slack but that's changing.
Holidays: Australia for 3 weeks in April, took my parents for a few days to Robin Hoods Bay/Whitby in August.
Anything else: Refinancing the property business in the new year in order to expand.
Goals for 2016: More holidays, take it a bit easier and spend more time with my family and friends.

Shamelessly stolen from Pistonheads, but I find it a good read so thought I'd create a thread on here and see what everyone has been doing this year...

Job: A few close work friends have left which has made it all a bit more of a chore, but I have more responsibility which is good in the long term.

Anything else: Moved in October (roomshare) and it was the right decision and got a featured thread!
Goals for 2016:
Improve the fitness some more as I'm going to Everest Base Camp in February but otherwise just continue to enjoy life.

Updated :)

Job: It's just a job atm but i'm in search of a career
Cars: Don't have one but that should change next year
Love Life: Yes I love life, owww no no nothing too exciting
Health: Health is all good, I want too go back on the bike but its winter so you know...
Holidays: None this year just never got organised
Anything else: ughhh AVF is the best?
Goals for 2016: Improve fitness further, actually change jobs and start a career and pass my driving licence.

Job: At the end of 2014 I took over the south of the country to become the UK account manager, then about a month ago I was told I would also be taken over ROI too so from my point of view its good to have gone from a regional account manager to a national/technically international one

Cars: Company car swapped at the start of the year, went from a 1.6 Focus to a 2.0 184 BHP leon which I absolutely love

Love Life: Remains the same, married, daughter, happy :)

Health: I like to think I am in good health, weight and such is good but I am conscious that I don't really do enough exercise, need to do more cardio work and things so thats looking like a new years resolution!

Holidays: First holiday abroad in years, went to Turkey, all enjoyed it, already book for next year to take my daughter to Disney in Florida

Anything else: Never been great with my finances but big changes are happening and through some work I should have my debts finally under control properly by year end, the difference could be quite significant for me as it will mean a chance to finally start saving money again

Goals for 2016: To save money with a view to some home improvements, from here on out its a case of not buying until I have the money rather than abusing credit that I have done in the past.

Job: It's just a job now
Cars: Kia Venga - one of the best cars I've had. Not very interesting obviously, but never coughs, loads of space and a 7 year warranty
Love Life: Will have been married 34 years on Christmas eve; no idea how or why she puts up with me.
Health: Bad last year, had a PE which could have killed me. Had my gall bladder out this year. Was 17 stone last January, now under 14 but I know this will go up over Christmas (don't care - i know I can lose it again easily)
Holidays: Just one to Turkey. Loved it
Anything else: I'm not greedy.......
Goals for 2016: Get fitter; I've lost the weight but need to tone up a bit now. Win the lottery then give most of it away

Job: Fixed term contract currently, but have been offered a perm role starting next year in a the contract management field which I'm looking forward to.
Cars: Live in London and rarely leave, so I dont need one
Love Life: With the GF for 4 years, still going strong
Health: Put on a load of chunk this year, but the plan is drawn up sort it, starting Dec 28th
Holidays: Cologne, Bratislava, Fethiye
Anything else: Built a new PC :D
Goals for 2016: Enjoy the Euros (I have tickets to 2 games) and get to more Leicester City games
