    Hi,

I read an earlier thread that said you can stream dvds from a pc to a tv wirelesly, including the surrond sound 5.1 output. What hardware do you need for the sound to be encoded? Currently i have an old, 1st generation dvd player, that came with its own sub and 5 speakers. I plan to replace this with new equipemt, but no idea what i actually need. I would like to keep my current set up, but the dvd player(jvc tha10r) only plays certain dvd's and doesnt play divx or vcsd.

What i plan to do is to have a htpc sitting under the tv, but also be able to stream other dvds from a networked pc server in the loft.
    Thanks

    Mak.

I think its a philips product. You get a pad with the screen that can send information from a PC to the TV.
