Hi there

Can someone tell me how to reset a Denon 2106 amp as somehow i have pashed too many buttons and my amp will only output sound in 6 channel or pro logic. I can't get any Doldy Digital or DTS.

Also, i have my XBox 360 going to the amp via component and then a lead from the amp to the TV. I can't see any difference but is my picture still in High Definition?

Hi

When the unit is off, hold down the Speaker A and Speaker B buttons on the front panel then turn the power back on. Hold the buttons a couple of seconds and the display will flash and reset the unit back to the factory defaults.

Cheers for that.

I did it but it still wont output DTS or Dolby for some reason?

Make sure the Amp's Input Mode is set to AUTO. Also make sure you've selected the correct mode on the Amp. Pressing the Standad button usually does the trick.

Tries mate but it still comes up with Neo 6 and i'm watching Star Wars Epsiode 3 which is meant to be in Dolby EX

Is the DVD player set to output a Bitstream signal? Make sure it's set to Normal rather than PCM.
