Over the past few weeks I've read that coloured or textured steelbooks are difficult to repair, but black ones are super easy. The type of damage I mean is a small knick where you can see silver underneath the black. I'm seeing these are easy to disguise, but not seeing anywhere with how??

I did see one post on AVS regarding simply using a black permanent marker, but is there specific markers for this? One that works better? and what's the method? Or is there simply a better solution?

Personally your looking at metal paint and if you have a car touch up kit for a black car your in luck as it will do the job.

Try looking on ebay for a black car touch up paint

Cheers, it's only a cheapy xbox one steel so wanted to give it a go will try that.

Just be careful once it dries it's hard to get off remember car touch up paint is designed to harden to avoid chips and will need scraping off so only put the slightest of paint on the tip
